I was young, but I remember when the Sugar Daddy Pop came out. It was HUGE then - almost as long as from my wrist to my elbow, and after one neighborhood kid came back from the store with one, we all had to have one. It was more than a kid could eat at one sitting, and our mom would wrap mine in wax paper after I was done eating it, so I could work on it for a few days. I remember it cost a nickel, and that was considered expensive, because most candy was one or two cents, but because it would last for several days, I remember getting them once in a blue moon when we lived in town.
