RB'S QUESTION OF THE DAY: September 5, 2012: There is a new show on the Food Network showing a guy who feeds himself at restaurants for $24 in 24 hours. Could you do that with restaurants in your area? If so, how would you do it??

I know I can easily do it for one, let's see how close I can come for two - not including tax.
We could go to McDonald's for breakfast; they have a 2/$3 breakfast sandwich deal, plus two coffees @$1, that would be $5 for breakfast.
Then we could go to Hardee's for lunch; they have a $5 Big Bag Special which includes two sandwiches, a drink, fries or onion rings, and a piece of pie, and we'd get an extra small drink for another $1, that would be $6 for lunch.
We could go to Subway for supper; they have $5 footlongs, we'd get two and two small drinks, that would be $13 for supper - and we would have half a sandwich leftover from each to eat as an evening snack before bedtime.
That's a grand total folks of $24 to feed two people for one whole day of eating out.

How did you do?

God bless.
