RB'S QUESTION OF THE DAY: October 29, 2012: Speaking of Hurricane Sandy - have you ever experienced a hurricane first hand? Do you know how many and their names by any chance?? Which one scared you the most???
Speaking of Hurricane Sandy - have you ever
experienced a hurricane first hand?
Do you know how many and their names by any chance??
Yes, probably about a half dozen or so of differing intensities in the past 30 years. I only remember three by name Hurricane Fran (9/96), Hurricane Dennis (8/99), Hurricane Floyd (9/99). Hurricane Fran scared the snot out of me; we faced high winds, flooding and tornadoes with huge trees falling all around us and all around the state, and we lost power for over a week. Praise God we survived it, and far far wiser too. We no longer take hurricane warnings lightly.

Praying for all dealing or who will be dealing with Hurricane Sandy. We know just what they're dealing with and exactly how they feel here in NC.
