RB said...: When I was about 19 or 20, I had been out past curfew one night and was trying to sneak into the house. I took off my shoes, and quietly crept up the stairs, through one bedroom and into the one I shared with a sister. As I placed my hand on the lamp to turn the light on, instead of feeling ceramic, I felt another hand, and that person let out a scream that Hitchcock would have been proud of. It turned out the sister I shared the room with was getting up to use the bathroom, and upon feeling my cold hand upon hers thought, well...Lord only knows what she thought. Her scream awakened the parents (and everyone else in a 5 mile radius I think), who came rushing into the room, apprised the situation rather quickly and scolded me soundly for coming in late. I wish I could remember which sister that was; I'm sure she gained a couple gray hairs from me that night. ROFLOL
