RB'S QUESTION OF THE DAY: November 18, 2012: Was watching a program the other day, and they said if you're going to a holiday or pot luck dinner, it's wrong to bring something you purchased at a store, rather than made from scratch yourself.

Was watching a program the other day, and they said if you're going to a holiday or pot luck dinner, it's wrong to bring something you purchased at a store, rather than made from scratch yourself.
I thought, "Huh? Does it really matter?"
What do you think??

I guess I don't have as much class as those folks do, but I don't think it should matter. What should matter is that you were asked (or expected) to contribute a dish in an ample portion for everyone to enjoy - and you did.

What do you think?

God bless.
