It's difficult for me to think of Independence Day without considering those who went before, often giving their lives, to win and ensure independence, not only for us here in the US, but also for those in other countries. It is then that I am reminded that "Freedom isn't free!" It is bought and paid for with the blood of courageous valiant warriors who stood and still stand in the gap regardless the personal cost so that others don't have to live in tyranny and fear, and I thank God for those people.
