How does anger, in yourself and in others, generally make you feel?

Now that I've grown older, I rarely get angry anymore.
When I do, I try to visualize myself and my anger, and then go somewhere until both are calmer and are more apt to be kinder.
In others, I just let them vent. Then when they pause, for a breath or whatever, I usually say something like, "I'm sorry. How can I help?"
