I believe children, the disabled, the elderly and animals, domesticated and otherwise, should be free of abuse or misuse of any kind. I believe those who abuse or misuse them should face stiff judicial penalties, up to and including being removed from society for the rest of their living days.
And I believe in the rights of US military Veterans to receive FREE medical care through a VAMC, without reservation, 365 days of every year, for the rest of their living days. (After all, "career" welfare mothers get that care for themselves and their children; whereas presently, a Veteran can lose medical care at a VAMC for the remainder of the year should the money budgeted by Congress run out before the calendar year does, requiring them to pay for whatever they need for the balance of that year. Why is that?)
