We have a small artificial tree, for two reasons really - 1. Because we're adults and there are only two of us, and 2. Because it seems hypocritical to me to complain about rain forests being cut down around the world, only to cut down hundreds of thousands of Christmas tree for a holiday that lasts only a few days each year.
I do love the scent of cut pine in the house though and miss that, but we do have candles and pomanders that smell the same that I put out at this time of the year.
