Grew up in NW PA and faced many blizzards growing up, including ones where heat and food were running out. But saw a tornado coming when I lived in Grandview, MO in 1970-71. Before that time, never knew they jumped and bounced, jigged and zagged and that there was no way to predict a clear path, so the best thing to do is head for cover - strong cover.
