There have been times when I do, and times when I don't, but I have found during the times when I am not involved in some service to others, my life becomes stagnant and uninteresting.
At the present, I believe I am serving others in my work at the store and in our pet sitting business where I can give others uplifting words of encouragement when I work with them and when I serve them in the checkouts. It's been amazing to me how many times someone goes through my line who is tired and harried from one thing or another, and I can give them a kind word that brings a smile to their face and eases their day.
It doesn't have to be much, but it has to be something, or like I say, my life soon becomes stagnant and uninteresting to me.
