RB'S QUESTION OF THE DAY: January 13, 2012: Today I heard someone say the reason of why one would do something charitable, even if it somehow benefits them, isn’t important as long as they do it with a kind heart...

Today I heard someone say the reason of why one would do something charitable, even if it somehow benefits them, isn’t important as long as they do it with a kind heart.
I think both are important in true charity, and now I find I’m puzzled.
Please Consider: What if a millionaire KINDLY gives a million dollars to a charity because it will grant him a million and ten dollar tax deduction.

Is that true charity??
What do you think???

Personally, I don't think so because there's something in that scenario that seems to lack the love of God.

What do you think?

With love.

God bless.
